Hathor
I painted Hathor after returning from Egypt, still carrying the hum of the desert in my body, the golden light, the silence, the pulse of something ancient. I didn’t plan to paint her. She came on her own, wild and magnetic, like music rising from deep within the earth.
Hathor’s energy is not gentle in the way of comfort, it’s the warmth of the sun on skin, the rush of laughter, the sweetness of honey. She teaches that pleasure is sacred, that joy can heal, that love is not something to seek but something that moves through you when you allow yourself to receive.
This painting carries that vibration, the meeting of light and flesh, of heart and rhythm. It’s an offering to the parts of us that long to celebrate, to express, to remember that the divine can be found in music, in touch, in the simple ecstasy of being here, now.

Goddess Hathor:
Hathor, the ancient Egyptian goddess of love, music, dance, fertility, and motherhood, embodies the life-giving power of joy and compassion. Known as “the Mistress of the West,” she welcomes souls into the afterlife with tenderness and grace. Her energy is deeply feminine, nurturing yet powerful, sensual yet serene. This painting seeks to honor her presence, to awaken the heart’s wisdom, and to inspire those longing to reconnect with beauty, vitality, and inner harmony.
